Welcome to Cage UK | In early 2000, I had decided to upgrade my paraglider for something with a little bit more performance and more up to date . . . | | It was at this stage I remembered a discussion on EuroPG about a different kind of glider called "The Cage". I did a little investigation and became more than a little intrigued by what I found around the internet about the cage method of flying. I decided that instead of purely replacing my paraglider, I would try out the cage and possibly buy one. I am putting my experiences good and bad for all to see and judge for themselves whether this amazing form of flying would be suitable for them. I have decided not to go into the technical aspects of the gliders, as other sites, such as the ASPIC site do this side of it already, better than I could. I have instead put down my personal experiences and to a large extent my personal opinion. | | IMPORTANT! | | THESE ARE PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE USED TO TRY AND TEACH YOURSELF TO FLY THE CAGE. THIS SHOULD BE DONE ONLY BY A SUITABLY TRAINED INSTRUCTOR. You risk at least damage to your Cage and even personal injury if you do not get proper instruction. |
